Maths Olympiad Training

This was one of the most exciting parts of my TY experience. For about 2 months leading up to January, I was one of the few students in the school invited to attend maths enrichment classes in UCD every Saturday. My parents' schedules aligned well enough to where they were able to drop me down to attend. The lectures were each one hour long with a 30 minute break inbetween the 2 lectures. Each lecture was in about a different area of maths and were given by various professors in UCD. We studied many topics, such as graph theory, modular arithmetic, polynomial properties, complex numbers, projection geometry, and many more. I hope that I will be able to participate next year and do better this time.
