The Irish Applied Maths Teacher's Association (IAMTA) Competition is a yearly competition held by the IAMTA for 3rd years and transition year students. I entered the competition last year, however this year we managed to win the regional competition and progress to the nationals.
We took a minibus to Athlone Community College, where our parents and some teachers came with us. The ride was very long, and we had to get up early in the morning to arrive on-time
We ended up scoring near the middle of the schools, getting 26 points.
