Gaeltacht

The Gaeltacht trip took place in September, near the beginning of the year. In hindsight, the trip definitely helped to prepare me for the greater level of independence that the future trips in transition year would require.

The scenery you could see in Connemara was absolutely beautiful. The weather was also good for the time, and there was no rain, though it was very cold, especially for the water activities that were planned.

The bus ride to there and back was rather long, being 3 hours.

Rather annoyingly, the Gaeltacht had a strict no-phones policy, which meant that I was unable to take any photographs while I was there.

The activities that were organized there were varied a bit, however the amount of dancing that we did was overwhelming; it felt like the day was not complete if we hadn't learned a new dance.
